December 5 – Blue Springs State Park – Admission is $6 per vehicle (max of 8 per vehicle). We’ll be meeting at Blue Springs State Park at 9:30am to walk the decks and look for Manatees.  Check out their website for more information: http://floridastateparks.org/bluespring/aboutthepark.cfm.

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Hope you all are having a great week! We had such a great time on Monday at the first “Meet and Play” at Journey and hope you all did too! It was such a great turn out and so much fun!

This Monday, September 26, we’ll be heading to the Dr. P Phillips Community Park to play in the splash pad there (weather permitting). There are some pavilions with picnic tables, so feel free to bring your lunch too. Check out the website if you need the address or want to see some pictures of what the park looks like. If you want to caravan we will be leaving Journey at 9:35am, so be there by 9:30am. Also, just send me an email and let me know, so we don’t leave anyone behind. Feel free to meet there at 10 or so, if that is easier for you and your crew.

Monday, October 3 – Meet and Play at Journey 

Monday, October 10 – Ace Gym – Stay and Play – 10:30 to Noon - Ace Gym is a gymnastics gym that opens up to mommies and their kids (ages 5 and under) 3 times a month (First and Third Thursday and 2nd Monday of the month). Admission is $6 a child and is free for adults. If you have have a toddler and/or preschooler and a baby that is not walking yet they will not charge you admission for the baby. We’ll be leaving the Journey parking lot at 9:45, so if you’d like to caravan be at Journey by 9:40. You can also meet at Ace Gym at 10:30. Monday, October 17 – Meet and Play at Journey 

Monday, October 24 – Guided Tour of Green Meadows Farm – Tour Starts at 9:30 – Green Meadows Farm is a fun learning environment where people of all ages can interact and learn about farm animals! Admission is $10 for 3 and up (free for 2 and under). We’re getting a group rate so we must pay in advance. If you’d like to attend please bring your cash payment to the next Meet and Play at Journey. Admission includes a guided tour, a train ride, a hay ride, and a free pumpkin from their pumpkin patch! We did this last year as a family and it was so much fun. Feel free to invite friends or family to this trip, but keep in mind we must have payment in advance for the group rate price. We’ll be bringing great grandma along with us since I’ve got two little ones to chase down! Also, feel free to bring your strollers.
